In the Middle of Becoming
We are pleased to announce the publication of Jade Smith’s debut photo book, ‘In the Middle of Becoming’. Please join us on Thursday 8th October at Guest Editions to celebrate the launch and see the accompanying exhibition prints.
‘In the Middle of Becoming’ is a photographic journey through time, place, and personal transformation. This body of work began not as a planned project, but as an instinctive response to travel and connection to a place. At its core, it is about learning to see, to truly look at others, at ourselves, and at the fragility of life. The project begins in Nepal, serving as the emotional and conceptual foundation of the work, before extending into Thailand and Vietnam.

Book Preview
All funds from the book will go to support UN Women’s emergency response in Nepal, providing food, essential assistance and protection to women and girls affected by the flash floods.
