The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information, necessary in order to contact you:

- Business telephone number
- Business postal address

We only store financial information if we are working on a confirmed project together, and it is necessary to pay you.

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

- You have invited us to pitch on a project
- You are a supplier or client on a confirmed project
- You are a previous client of a Companion artist

We also receive personal information indirectly, from your public business profiles (for example; LinkedIn), or business website.

We use the information that you have given us in order to improve the efficacy of our marketing and promotion, and to at intervals send out digital or physical mailers for marketing purposes.

We may share this information from time to time with Companion artists, or suppliers, in order to perform duties necessary to the successful completion of a project.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored on Companion’s secure server, and only accessible by Companion staff as the authorized users.

We keep your identifying personal details e.g; name, email address, business telephone, and business postal address, for as long as the use of this data remains of legitimate interest for our marketing activities. We will then dispose of your information by deletion from our database.
