Fossils, a personal project and film by Max Miechowski, produced in collaboration with The Guardian, sees Max shadow Dr. Richard Forrest, the renowned fossil hunter who has spent more than half a century hunting for evidence of our countries’ prehistoric past.

Fossil hunting for Forrest is not just a way of connecting with the rich history of the Jurassic Coast, it is acutely personal, giving him a cathartic outlet to recover from grief.
Max’s project builds on his long term exploration in to the UK coastline and it’s relation to time.
